At Beauty of the Earth Books, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price.
What's Covered
- Full refund for returned products
- Items must be in new, unread condition with no markings, damage, or wear
What's Not Covered
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility
- Bulk or wholesale orders (these are non-refundable once shipped)
How to Return an Item
Please follow these steps to ensure a smooth return process:
Step 1: Contact Us First
Email us at contact@beautyoftheearthbooks.com with:
- Your order number
- Which items you'd like to return
- Brief reason for the return
Important: You must contact us before sending your return. Returns received without prior notification may experience processing delays.
Step 2: Package Your Return
- Ensure books are in new, unread condition
- Include your order number on or inside the package (write it on a piece of paper if needed)
- Package items securely to prevent damage during shipping

Refund Processing
Timeline
Once we receive your return, please allow 10 business days for us to:
- Inspect the returned items
- Process your refund
- Send you an email confirmation
How You'll Be Refunded
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
MISSING PACKAGES - DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED
If tracking shows your order as "delivered" but you have not received it, please take the following steps:
Within 48 Hours of Delivery Confirmation:
- Check around your delivery location, including side doors, back porches, garages, and with neighbors or building management
- Verify the delivery address on your order confirmation was correct
- Check with other household members who may have brought the package inside
To Report a Missing Package: Contact us within 7 days of the delivery date. We will need you to confirm that you have:
- Checked all possible delivery locations and with neighbors
- Verified the shipping address was correct
- Waited at least 48 hours since the "delivered" notification
Our Resolution Process: Once you've completed the steps above, we will:
- Investigate the delivery with our shipping carrier
- Review delivery confirmation details (photo proof, GPS coordinates, etc.)
- Work with you to reach a resolution, which may include a replacement shipment or refund at our discretion
For Orders Over $90: A police report documenting the missing package will be required before we can process a replacement or refund. Please file a report with your local police department for stolen/missing mail and provide us a copy of the report or with the report number and officer name.
Important Notes:
- Claims must be submitted within 7 days of the delivery date shown in tracking
- We reserve the right to limit replacements for missing packages to maintain fair use of this policy
- Signature confirmation may be required for future orders or high-value items
We are not responsible for packages stolen after confirmed delivery, but we will do our best to assist you in resolving the situation. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control. Once we transfer products to the carrier, title and risk of loss passes to you.
